We work with high-quality tenants! Our goal is to have satisfied tenants and owners so that rent is paid on time, properties are cared for, and trust is built from the beginning.
All tenants undergo thorough and extensive checks prior to leasing through Meer and Company. These checks include a thorough background check, credit check, previous landlord reference checks, employment history, and rental reference check. This is at no cost to the owner. We are thorough and comply with all Federal, State, and Local Fair Housing Laws.
Once an applicant is accepted, a Lease Agreement is completed and the first month’s rent, as well as a security deposit equal to the first month’s rent is collected. We provide all tenants with a complete information package to help them continue to be the best residents in the homes we manage. The basic information includes a list of contact phone numbers, what to do in case of emergency, 24/7/365 emergency services, performing minor repairs, and ways to care for the homes they will be living in for at least one year.
